My name is Nicole, but on air I go by Nicki. I grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia, but I’m so obsessed with the beach that I may as well have lived there. I worked at Triple R Ranch in the barn from when I was fourteen (I started out as a volunteer) until… well, I still work there sometimes, and I love every minute that I get to spend there. The ranch is home to me. I have a little brother (who is about a foot taller than I am) and wonderful parents who are the reason I’m where I am today. I went to a small private school from kindergarten all the way through high school graduation in 2014. I got my bachelor’s degree in English in May of 2018 at Christopher Newport University (Go Captains!) and my master’s degree in Journalism at Regent University (Go Royals!) this past August (2019). I am currently working towards my PhD in Communications at Regent.
I have a perfect little chestnut quarter horse named Denver—he’s 23, like me, and very silly. I love the beach, wine, country music, good books and my sorority—I’m an ADPi! I’m the receptionist for Sinclair Communications so if you win any prizes, you’ll probably get to see me! US106.1 has always been my favorite radio station so I am thrilled to get to hang out with y’all on-air!
