Its almost that time of year, the date is set and the preparations are underway for the 16th Annual ETA Open House and Customer Appreciation Day. Come out and join the Eastern Truck & Accessories team at the shop in Norfolk, VA from 10am-4pm for a fun filled day. This event wil lbe held rain or shine and is always fun for the whole family with activities for 4×4 enthusiasts of all ages. Building on the sucess of past year’s we’ll be raising money for a worthwhile cause, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation with the goal to outdo last year’s record breaking fundraiser where we brought in $50,000 to donate for CF research.

If you’ve got a show worthy 4×4, lowered truck or muddy Jeep be sure to enter it in the show-n-shine contest for one of the many categories being judged. There will be several vendors on site to answer questions and give demos. Tour the ETA shop and get an up close look at all the ETA project builds. Buy a t-shirt and enter to win some of the gear being raffled off throughout the day. Around noon the crew will be serving up lunch which will lead into the always entertaining live auction. As with past years we’ll be raffling/auctioning off an array of prizes from lift kits, tires, wheels, install labor, bumpers, lights, TVs, tools, truck accessories and more valued at well over $25,000. Following the success of the past three jeep giveaways we decided to continue with the trend, bringing it back again this year and give everyone another shot at winning a decked out ETA built rig. This year the giveaway vehicle is a overlander themed 1989 Jeep Comanche MJ.

Main Event – Event will be held Saturday May 19th, 2018 from 10am-4pm at the ETA Shop, 6230 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502. Free general admission for everyone.

Parking – Truck Show takes up front and rear parking lots. General parking is next door (just West of the shop) behind the building.

Truck Show – $20 entry fee p/ vehicle. Starts at 10am, must arrive by 11:30am to be included in judging. Awards will be handed out between 3-4pm. Categories include Best in Show, ETA Staff Choice, People’s Choice, Tallest in Show, Lowest in Show, All Show No Go, Best Paint, Muddiest in Show, Best Jeep, Most Ground Clearance, Best 2WD, Most Accessorized, etc.

Lunch – Lunch will be served at 12pm for all attendees. We’ll be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs, along with chips and sides to fill up on. Water and soft drinks will be provided as well.

Raffle/Auction – As in years past there will be a number of raffles, door prizes, and auctions going on throughout the day with the main raffle/auction kicking off after lunch. 100% of proceeds will go to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Jeep Giveaway

This year Eastern will be building a overlanding themed Jeep Comanche ready to hit the trails, the beach, the next camping trip and anything else you want to take it on. The build will start with a 1989 Jeep Comanche MJ 2WD that will be converted over to 4WD and outfitted with a number of great products including lift, wheels, tires, bumpers, winch, lighting, custom audio, camping gear and more. Check out the updates as this Jeep comes together on the ETA Facebook and Instagram pages. A big thanks to all the companies involved for their support.

How the Jeep Giveaway will work: Tickets are being sold now at the shop, over the phone and at events like Wheelin For Hope and Monsters on the Beach prior to the event. There are a maximum of 1000 tickets being sold right up to the time of the Giveaway on Saturday, May 20th. On Wednesday, May 16th the first (4) Finalists wil lbe selected at the shop and posted LIVE on ETA’s Facebook Page. The other (4) Finalists will be chosen just prior to the giveaway so make sure you attend the event, you must be present or send a representative to win. All (8) Finalists will get a key, only one will start the Jeep and take it home. The other (7) Finalists will then be put into an runner-up auction with prizes to include LED TVs, camping gear, 4wheeling trips, etc.
