About: Bear is a two year old German Shepard Husky who loves to play. He will literally play all day everyday if he can. A few months after my dog of 19 years died my family and I felt like we needed another dog, as if the house was empty without one. He loves walks, spiffy handkerchiefs, his toys, and of course is sassy.
Adopted From: Stray / Abandoned
About: Doodles is a true rescue. My husband and my bulldog Parker were on a walk when they heard a crying kitten. My husband brought the dog home and said to me, “Put your shoes on we are going to rescue a kitten”. It was a 100 degree day in August and she was inside a box spring under a mattress. We had to cut open the box spring to find my new best friend. From that first night and every night since she sleeps with her chin on my cheek.
Adopted From: Chesapeake Animal Control
About: Xena is my very own puppy cat. She follows me around and talks to me all the time. It was love at first sight for me. Her coloring changed every time her winter coat came in for about 6 years. She’ll be 11 years old next week.
